Maybe this is where you should start with debugging. These modules are now officially called "Google play services modules" in the settings (maybe because they had some bad news lately?). Here I can tell you that my (and maybe all of the affected people) do no longer have GPS with "Chimera" modules. I just saw more than nothing at all (mostly the native AA apps + some more that didn't do anything when clicked).īTW: "AA unlock" is giving us a hint on what it does with the text in the "Relock" button. Unfortunately, after giving a try on 4 out of 10 combinations (5 application models, with and without "unknown source") + of course "unlock" and reboot after every change, the best I could get was with "application model" set to "developer".īut still no "AA mirror" was showing up. So watch out, "release" is the very first out of 5 options. Sidenote: On my phone the model "release" is called "Version", which is a very poor translation into German. In fact on my phone the "application model" was unset, therefore I was confident to give it a try.
